Nursery

At Harvester, we believe that every child is a gift given to us by God and deserves to be treated with love, care, and compassion. While we encourage you to worship as a family, we are also happy to offer an infant (0-2 years) nursery during the worship service.

Sunday School

Sundays at 11:30AM we gather for Sunday School, we have classes for children and adults.

ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages)

English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) classes are offered on Sunday mornings.

Free English Language classes are offered to anyone in the community. There are 3 levels of classes from Beginners through Advanced.

All classes meet on Sunday mornings with levels 2 and 3 meeting at 8:30 a.m. with classes ending about 10 a.m. Level 1 students begin at 11:15 a.m. and end about 12:30 a.m. Students are encouraged to purchase textbooks, which cost $25 for the year. However, there are no instruction or registration fees

Registration is begins in September and continues as class space allows. When the “Free English Classes” sign is in front of the church, registration is being held. Please call the church office at 703-455-7800 for further information.

Sunday Evening Ministries

LifeQuest (Grades K-6th)

Are you (or your children) looking for the fun of VBS during the rest of the year?  Do you want a safe place to grow in grace, but also a place to bring your friends to hear the Gospel?  Sundays (1st, 3rd, and 4th Sundays) at 5:30 p.m. is our Children’s Ministry program called LifeQuest.  Join us in the sanctuary for a time of worship, games, and small groups as we discover Who God is and learn how to make Him known.  For more information, contact Ashley Allen, for more details.

Adult Discipleship Class

Sunday Evenings (1st, 3rd, and 4th Sunday) at 5:30-6:30pm, we have Adult Discipleship classes, where we gather for a time of studying a topic and how to apply it to our daily lives.

Evening Worship and Fellowship Dinner

Every second Sunday of the month we gather for evening worship at 5:30PM followed by a fellowship dinner.

Ladies’ Bible Studies

The Ladies’ Bible Study meets Thursdays from September to early May. Please call the church office if you would like to join a study.

Men’s Discipleship Group

Meets Tuesdays, 7:00-8:30 p.m. at the church, September to May.  For more information, contact Mark Hayes at the church office for more details.

Care Groups

Care Providers Care Group

Meets Sundays, 6:00-8:00 p.m. in host homes. Meets together to pray for each other, church concerns and our missionaries.  All adults are welcome. Contact Dennis Van Liere at the church office for more details.

Burke Care Group

Meets Wednesday nights at 7:00 p.m. at the home of Greg and Gitta Smith for a time of study and fellowship. All are welcome: families, singles, and couples. Contact Greg Smith at the church office for more details.

Springfield South Care Group

Meets Thursdays at the church building. Dinner is at 6:30 p.m., followed by Bible study and discussion 7:00-8:00 p.m. All are welcome: military, civilian, singles, couples, families, etc. Contact Mark Van Gilst, at the church office for more details.

Pilgrim Care Group

Meets 1st and 3rd Thursdays at the church, for a time of Bible Study and Fellowship. Families, no matter their shape and size are more than welcome, they are encouraged! Please contact Pastor Dan, at the church office for more details.
